Welcome to the OUETDA blog!

After talking about having a website for many years, and seeing them come and go, finally OUETDA has a home on-line. The Ontario Universities Educational Technology Directors' Association has existed for nearly forty years. Originally an ad hoc group of TV Directors from several of the universities in Ontario, it has grown to include managers and directors of Audio Visual, IT and Media Departments from many of Ontario's Universities. McMaster, Univ. of Toronto, Univ. of Ottawa, Univ. of Guelph, Laurentian, Waterloo, Laurier, Carleton, Ryerson, York, Queens, and sometimes Trent or Windsor meet twice annually to discuss issues of relevance to the use of technology in a variety of learning spaces. It was originally just classrooms but over the years we have seen learning spaces come to mean anywhere learning and teaching might take place. We invite your comments, questions, and input as we move ahead with a more public face.
